Jubilee, Borough of Richmond, P8347, Mk IIb, 222 Sqn.
Not much on this aircraft. It began May 1941 in 222 Sqn then 266, 65, 616, 500 and 312 sqns within the year. During 1941 it operated along the southern and northern coasts of England as well as Scotland. Mostly fighter sweeps and bomber escort. It went to Scottish Aviation January 1942 and lastly a maintenance unit in 1944.

Spitfire Mark VB, AD233 'ZD F', being flown by the Commanding Officer of No.222 Squadron RAF, Squadron Leader Richard Milne, when based at North Weald, Essex. On 25 May, AD233 was shot down by Focke Wulf Fw 190s over Gravelines, while being flown by Squadron Leader Jankiewicz.
