P-40C '337' of the 44th Pursuit Squadron (18th Pursuit Group) based at Bellows Field in Hawaii at the time of the Japanese attack on 7 December 1941. Camouflage was olive drab, neutral grey. Note that the Group's number does not appear, having probably been masked. This plane was severely damaged during the attack. Its right wing tip and tail were torn off and the fuselage was holed behind the cockpit.
