Aircraft facilities and on-board accommodation:
Capacity: The ship can carry up to 6 aircraft of type: Ar. 196 on board. 4 aircraft are housed in the 3 hangers and 2 on-board aircraft are on the catapults

Aircraft sling: The double telescopic catapults of the Deutsche Werke were located amidships and had a length of 16 m each (starboard and port), which could be raised up to 24 m beyond the ship's side. The catapults are located to the left and right of hangar 1.

Compressed air system: The compressed air required for the aircraft blower is supplied by 2 Junkers air compressors.
Aircraft ammunition: The machine-gun and drop ammunition are stored in the bomb chamber and in the salute chamber. The smoke containers are stored in the aircraft container room aft, frame 1-1.5.
other facilities: Fire extinguishing equipment consists of 8 air foam tubes with 16 tuto containers, 4 gas fire extinguishing systems, as well as a wet steam connection for heating and defrosting.
