Formed 21 May 1943 in Calabria to protect the Messina strait. Later attached to the 10th Armee (East Rome, Anzio/Nettuno).

  • Flakuntergruppe Messina (Stab/s.Flak-Abteilung 281) with 14 batteries (incl. 1 searchlight)
  • Flakuntergruppe Reggio-San Giovanni (Stab/s.Flak-Abteilung 182(?)) with 17 batteries (incl. 1 searchlight)

Organisation 1 Nov 1943:

and joined the brigade in Dec 1943.

Organisation 1 Mar 1944:

Gave up its regiments in Mar 1944, and was temporarily withdrawn from service. New organisation 1 May 1944:

left the brigade in May 1944, and was replaced by ; returned Jun 1944, and went back to the

Jun 1944 at Meserato-Florenz, and later at Bologna-Casaleccio.

Organisation 1 Aug 1944:

left the brigade in Aug 1944, and was replaced by , the latter leaving again in Sep 1944.

Organisation 1 Nov 1944:

Ended the war in Italy.
