Reformed 1 Aug 1940 in Chartres as the Ergänzungsstaffel/KG55, and on 1 Mar 1941 was redesignated 10./KG55. Stab IV./KG55 was formed on 7 Mar 1941, followed by 11./KG55 on 21 Mar 1941. 12./KG55 was formed on 7 Apr 1941.
